Martin Petersen is assistant professor in Korean Studies, Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, University of Copenhagen. He is currently working on a research project on the production, meaning and reception of Korean manhwa and graphic novels from the 2000s. This research has been published in Korea 2012: Politics, Economy and Society and in Korean Studies (2012), and is forthcoming and The Review of Korean Studies (2012).
